In 2008 NALN carried out a peer evaluation exercise with VETNET LLN, the lifelong learning network (LLN) for the veterinary and allied professions. This was part of a nationwide exercise whereby all LLNs were paired. VETNET LLN and NALN were paired as the only two national, subject-specific LLNs. Despite the disparity in subject areas, it was found that there were a number of important comparisons to be made in terms of infrastructure and operation.
