Through playing the guitar Daniel first became interested in how they were made and went onto train as a guitar maker in Devon. After a number of years making guitars Daniel returned to Newcastle After four years Daniel's love of wood spurred him onto train at the University of Cumbria, studying Contemporary Applied Arts, specialising in Furniture Craft.
Skillset has worked with Creative & Cultural Skills and Arts Council England to produce the first ever Guidelines for Employers offering Work Placement Schemes in the Creative Industries.
