The National Arts Learning Network model FE to HE progression agreement is a framework designed to promote progression into HE for vocational learners in the performing and visual arts. This objective-based model has been developed out of the good practice across the NALN and provides a framework for the continued development of practice around progression agreements. There is a wide range of practice and activity across the NALN around progression work that reflects the range of institutions and the work that they do. We have consequently developed an approach that offers clear objectives in terms of outcomes of the work that progression agreements achieve and flexibility in terms of how these outcomes are achieved.

NALN remains committed to supporting the successful progression of under represented groups and to that end we are monitoring the profile of all students participating in progression agreements as well as those recruited as ASNs. NALN will work with progression managers on targeting under represented groups where the need is identified.
