As specialist arts institutions most NALN colleges are members of their local 14-19 consortia contributing to the gateway application process, planning and delivery of the Creative and Media Diploma. The Creative and Media Diploma is a priority area of work for progression managers this year and our training and development meetings have been focusing on models of engagement and sharing of good practice.
Some ways in which NALN institutions are contributing their local consortia delivering the creative and media diploma are:
NALN is currently working with the Creative Way, developing progression agreements from the level 3 diploma being delivered at by the Newham 14-19 Consortium. Progression routes from music, broadcasting, interactive and e-media, and graphics and digital media diploma lines onto provision at 3 HEIs in NALN and the Creative Way.
