'Making It' was an extensive range of taster sessions in craft specialist subjects, that was designed to encourage participants to pursue a course at FE or HE level at Cumbria Institute of the Arts (now the Faculty of Arts of the University of Cumbria) and ultimately carve out a career in the crafts sector.
The taster sessions covered a wide variety of textile specialisms and ceramics subjects. A colour brochure was produced and distributed to schools, colleges and adult learning centres. Take up was high and the workshops proved very popular.
You can download the brochure here, Making It .
